Haapsalu Graphic Design Festival's 2020 theme was Contact, and out of 358 submissions from Europe, North America, and Asia, my poster “Püsi Kodus” was selected as one of the 84 finalists featured in this year’s exhibition. The design focused on the COVID-19 pandemic and the overwhelming effect it still has on human interaction today. The “s” in the bottom right corner is sprinting away, a symbol for social distancing. Surgical masks are casually hung to dry like laundry, portraying how an item once reserved for hospitals is normalized as a daily accessory.
